"From Beneath" a Christian Dalbec Stephan Hoglund Projectc

6 images Created 16 May 2019

When Elizabeth came to me looking for a Wedding Photographer she told me of her Love with Lighthouses which intrigued me greatly. She said she wanted to be photographed with Splitrock Lighthouse behind her and Thomas. First thought was "Hmmm that will be near impossible" but, immediately thought of my fellow photographer friend, Christian Dalbec who is renowned for his underwater photos. Though not known as a portrait or wedding photographer he was a bit resistant until I assured him that I would be there directing the couple as he shot from in the water. Lake Superior cooperated with a robust sea that morning and even I was able to get a few of these shots from the shoreline. I believe they were thrilled with the result! We were!
